Hello Sunshine Shower

This is a belated post, but a big thank you to my mom and sisters for throwing such an amazing baby shower last month and to all of those who came out to celebrate Baby D!

I was overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity and so grateful for all the wonderful gifts. We got everything we needed — and more!

Leading up to the shower, people kept telling me story after story of someone they knew who had gone into labor before their baby shower took place. I swear I must have heard at least ten different stories like this! I had been so nervous the same thing was going to happen to me and that I wouldn’t have anything prepared. But luckily Baby D waited for the party, too!

Everything was so perfect, especially with the adorable “hello sunshine” theme. (I have a couple of different things at home with this phrase already, including my door mat and phone case, but it’s even more fitting for welcoming a new baby.) And I had so much fun catching up with so many friends and family!
