Centerpiece Statues

Y7NVkxbYaM-PkcZYkr4af06v0usIsjxvuqmTPIcTcukThis is a belated post, but I’m excited to share one of my centerpiece ideas, which had actually been one of the first wedding-related things I did last year when the planning first took off.

I figured if we were going to spend the money, it would be nice if at least part of it went toward a good cause, so I ended up finding a nonprofit group affiliated with National Geographic that sells fair trade items online made by artists around the world.

One of the sculptures for sale called “Dancing Couple” was so cool and different, and I thought it would fit in perfectly at the Bridgeport Art Center. It was made by a man from Bali and came packaged with a beautiful and unique tie.

Half of the tables will have these sculptures, while the other half will have those wood curl balls I bought last Christmas.
